Loahna Chandler began performing at age three and for thirty years she sang, danced, and acted on the stage, radio, and TV, performing in a New York musical and traveling to the Pacific with a USO troupe during the Korean War. She completed the fiction course offered by Famous Writers School, Westport, Connecticut, and began writing confession stories. Many sold to True Love, True Experience and True Story. Loahna switched from fiction to film when her husband Warren Chandler retired from being a TV weatherman. They spent 1977 and '78 with the Peace Corps in Chile producing audio-visual shows for Peace Corps recruitment and training. Returning to the states, they began producing travelogues called Venture Productions. In twenty years they traveled to 123 countries and made 60 luxury cruises promoting world-wide travel. Loahna's ancestors crossed the country in wagon trains in the 1800's, eventually settling in Julesburg Colorado. Now in her 80's, Loahna has found her most rewarding writing experience collaborating with son Michael on the Kincade series.
