This is one of my favorite trilogies and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I liked the experiments and how it all came together in the end. Xandra and Vex was awesome, but William he held my admiration. I wonder what happened with Juliet in the end. It was a very nice conclusion and I wasn't disappo...

This was the third and final installment in The Immortal Empire series and I was so sorry to see it end. I actually had to take a break after listening to this series. I was experiencing a doozy of a book hangover and just wasn't quite ready to dive into something else. I am sure you know exactly w...

This is more like a 3.5 rating... Mostly because the ending was a huge let down and super abrupt. Talk about anti-climactic.

I'm sad to hear this series has ended but in a way, I know that it's probably good because it ended on a good note. Some things were tied up, and there were a few surprise betrayals. This is a great series for you paranormal (steampunk-ish) fans.

This book didn't have as many surprises as the other two books in the series. I'm still not sure if that's a good thing or not, but I ended up not really being surprised by any of it. Although, when Xandra said something along the lines of "how bad could it be" I knew the next chapters were going ...

Excellent finish to this series. Events in this one pick up right after The Queen Is Dead. Good mystery regarding Ali and who or rather, what, she is. The big bad gets a fitting end. I really enjoyed this world and Xandra, who is kickass. She really comes into her own and I enjoyed the journey....

Feel like an idiot right now because I just realized that while I was approved for the galley for this title on NetGalley, I actually didn't download it before the title was archived. *sighs*I'm definitely planning to read this, though. Just not sure when it will be.

My Review: I’d forgotten just how much I enjoyed this quirky little series. The vocabulary does take some getting used to, however there is a glossary at the end of the book which does explain quite a lot. Long Live the Queen is the third book in Kate Locke’s Immortal Empire series and I think that ...

Xandra, Goblin Queen, is coming more and more accustomed to being a goblin and even staring down Victoria (or sniping at her across the table) but even as her life grows more stable the city and the country succumbs to more and more unrest. There’s a movement led by Xandra’s own mother to depose the...
