So I did enjoy these stories, but I dunno... I think because they weren't really linked, other than that each was Lord John... just didn't "do it" for me. I absolutely love hearing all the "proper" speaking of the time, and I always feel a bit smarter hearing all the big words, lol. And I love Lord ...

I do like Lord John, and I think he works well in novella format. Each of these tales has at least some nominal paranormal frame of reference. I'm not sure I would call them mysteries, however. Narrator is great. This is 3 short stories. I liked the 1st and 3rd the best. I had thought the 3rd sounded/read familiar but it's end was a surprise.
