I first read this book in college and remember loving it. On re-read, I noticed more of the ridiculous plot points, but I still adore the setting and basically like the characters even if sometimes I think they're crazy.
This is the first Susan Wiggs I've ever read. Not sure if I want to try another.The beginning had promise! But then as I read on, it became just plain silly. I actually said "you've got to be kidding" out loud. I liked the characters enough and the setting was fun so I gave it 2 stars. But, there ...
Ridiculous on so many levels. I did like the setting, though.
