I have no idea what was going on in this book. I didn't read the first in the series, so maybe that's why I was confused. Although, I'm not sure reading of the first book was required. I made it to 19% and just could not get in to it. One character would ask a question or make a comment and ther...

I think this is a great world with dragons that live with humans. When I read the first book, I thought was more of a UF, because that is how the story read. More action that a standard PNR novel. I think this world is great. In this story, there is a huge difference from most PNR novels. Both her...

Lorenda Christensen is back with the second entry in her DRACIM series, and I found Dancing With Dragons even stronger than its predecessor. Picking up right where Never Deal With Dragons left off, this installment follows Carol Jenski, a secondary character from the first book, on a snarky and ro...

Dancing with Dragons is the second book in the DRACIM series by Lorenda Christensen. The first book, Never Deal with Dragons, I really enjoyed. I hate to say it but I just didn't connect with this book like I did the first. This book picks up during the end of book 1, but told from the perspective o...

I picked this up and buddy read it with two friends because we thought it would be dragon porn. Hey, don’t judge us; look at that damn cover, dude has Mushu crawling up his arm. Anywho, we’d just come off of reading a book that seemed like it would be gargoyle porn (see, I really hoped) but ended ...

.At RWA, I heard Never Deal With Dragons described as a debut combining urban fantasy with a touch of humor. While I'll admit to suffering from a bit of series fatigue, I do have a soft spot for unique-sounding urban fantasy and so I tried this one out of curiosity. While there was a critical piece ...

hmmm....this is more of a 3.5 but I'm not sure I want to round it up to 4...The story was good and I enjoyed it...but how it was wrapped up seemed a bit rushed....and with what we know of one of the characters a bit unbelievable....I really enjoyed the world created mostly current times with dragons...

This is the first book in the DRACIM series by Lorenda Christensen. I got this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I chose this book because I am a lover of dragons, especially shapeshifter dragons. For some reason I thought that this is what this book would be about. Similar t...
