Professor of English at Central Washington University, Loretta Gray holds a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics (Boston University) and two M.A. degrees (Spanish, TESOL). She has taught in Mexico and Spain, as well as at Clemson University and the School for International Training. Professor Gray currently teaches composition and applied linguistics courses at Central Washington University. She is the author of English Verbs; she is the coauthor of Rhetorical Grammar and the Harbrace family of handbooks.
