Lori L. Silverman is the co-author of five books, three that showcase her expertise in applying storytelling in the workplace: Stories Trainers Tell, Wake Me Up When the Data Is Over, and Business Storytelling for Dummies. She's frequently asked to share her practical, results-driven, highly energized, and enthusiastic approach to business storytelling as a keynote presenter and in workshops to leaders and staff in recognized companies, nonprofits, and associations. Organizations she's worked with on story include Bright House Networks, Lydig Construction, the Association for Public Health Laboratories, and HomeWatch Caregivers. She's also appeared on more than 70 radio and TV shows to share results from workplace story use. As the owner of Partners for Progress®, for 25 years she's consulted on enterprise-wide change and strategic planning to organizations such as American Family Insurance, the American Legion Auxiliary, Bechtel, Chevron, Children's Hospitals and Clinics of MN, Duquesne University, Tinker Federal Credit Union, Valmet, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, and the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Lori holds an MS degree in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA from Edgewood College.
