Poet and non-fiction author Lorne Daniel was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and now lives in Victoria, British Columbia. His writing has been published in dozens of magazines, literary journals and newspapers and has been included in such prominent anthologies as Al Purdy's Storm Warning II and Writing the Terrain. He won the Jon Whyte Memorial Essay Prize in 1996. His poetry has also been broadcast on CBC Radio.
