Lorraine grew up in a small town farming community in Nebraska where a traffic jam constituted a car trying to pass two combines. She developed a love for writing early in life and by age twelve, she'd published her first newspaper. Ranch Happenings debuted with a rivoting expose about a bull snake run down and killed by grandpa's tractor mower and a food review highlighting Grandma's Golden Grilled Cheese sandwiches. Lorraine graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in journalism and a minor in public relations. After college, she dabbled in politics where she served as a registered lobbyist and later as a press manager for a gubernatorial candidate. After the election, she traded politics for potato chips and became media relations manager for Frito-Lay/PepsiCo., Inc, where she coordinated a 60 Minutes interview with Andy Rooney, worked with the Dallas Cowboys on a weekly TV commercial series, and had a constant supply of free Fritos and Pepsi. Later, she married and moved out west where she worked as promotion manager for the University of California, Irvine. Lorraine, a writer, speaker and writing coach, has written many books and magazine articles on a variety of topics. Woven in her messages is the thread of faith . . . that with God, all things are possible. (see websites, www.intimeissues.com and www.lorrainepintus.com).
