Sometimes going back and rereading something we read in our younger years is a bad thing. It's not as good as we remember and suddenly a memory of a fabulous book is tarnished. Not so in this case! Was just as good as I remember :)
I liked this one more than I thought I would. I liked the slow build up of their relationship and I liked the way the setting felt so real. Sometimes it felt like Marie was older than she really was (she was supposed to be 19) and sometimes I felt like their dialect got in the way of me enjoying the...
This is a slowly built romance but very sweet!
I've watched the film inspired by this book and it was great and I think the book is going to be even better.
Although, I read the entire Love Comes Softly series, I felt that Hallmark did a better job with the movie of this. I thought the characters in the movie were much more "human" and relatable.
