Listened to this in audio book and the narration was fantastic. I really liked how the narrator differentiated the different characters from each other. There was a point in the story where I was crying. I'm not even sure if it was because of the story or the feeling the narrator injected into the r...

Re-read.Now that I know better, I skipped all the sex scenes. They did nothing for the plot and I enjoyed the book so much more. 4 stars. I wish ebooks nowadays came with "hide" tags. If a sex scene, or a family reunion with gazillion kids, or a lengthy scenery description do nothing to move the plo...

of Avril Ashton's series 'Brooklyn Sinners' with a little side trip to 'Always a Sinner' before the epilogue. So far this series is seriously keeping me on the edge of my seat. Gabe and Anegelo/Rafe are one stormy, sexy, hot couple. I'm hoping that they'll show up from time to time in the rest of th...

I must say that Avril Ashton is quickly becoming one of my fave authors. I've only read two books by her so far, but they have been so ungodly hot! I did enjoy the actual plot in Watch Me (Break You) better, but this one was still good.

Story: 3.3 starsAudio book: 4 starsThe audio narration was excellent and so were the voices EXCEPT Gabe's. Angelo's voice was hotter than hell and that accent, Dios. The supporting voices including the women were well done too. But Gabe's voice. Ugh. It was too gentle especially in the sex scene...

Opening line: "It's about goddamn time one of you people showed up." Detective Gabriel Ashby closed the interrogation room door behind him and raised an eyebrow at the man who spoke." There seems to be a lot of mixed reviews for Love The Sinner and while it’s not without its faults it worked for m...

This book is so bad, it ends up being good. The sappiness! The cheesy lines! The bad sex! The narm! It burns. It burns so good.

Was this predictable - yesWas there sex - Oh yeahWas there a plot - noDid I enjoy it - yesSome times you just need a little fluff with a lot of sex thrown in. I enjoyed the characters and the little bit of suspense that was thrown in. At first I thought I wouldn't be able to complete this book, bu...

Love the Sinner is one of those books I would normally not like. Fortunately, I was in the right mood for what this book had in store. What NOT to expect:1) Slow burn. Seriously, the characters are already a couple by chapter 2. Their first meeting is already insta-attraction/love, and that occurs b...

I can't really say a lot about this one. I had loved it. But this was far too much for me. And as for finishing the series. I don't think it would be the best idea. If you love good, angsty books then this might be perfect for you. However, it was it was just way too much for my own personal taste.
