Today I finished J.R. Ward's Lover Unleashed which tells of Payne's story. From the author's previous book from the series, Lover Mine (John Matthew's story), we were introduced to Payne, the Brother Vishous' twin sister. After a sparring session with Wrath gone awry, Payne ends up paralyzed from th...
The book wasn't bad but I had a hard time connecting with Payne. More sex woulda helped but unfortunately that was in short supply in this installment. Full review to follow.
Eigentlich bin ich von dieser Autorin gute, lockere Unterhaltung gewöhnt, die mich mitreißen kann. Davon war dieses Mal leider nur wenig zu spüren. There are Butch-Vi...
While this may not be one of the best in the series it still has enough strong elements to have it be a good story. I liked the romance between Manny and Payne but they could have had more of the book devoted to their relationship. It was okay that Manny's feelings for her went from 0 to warp speed ...
Just finished this book last night and while I was entertained by the book overall, I was not enamored by Payne & Manny's romance, it was just so mild. Annnnnnd, I sincerely hope Ms. Ward will stop unnecessarily elongating words like and and such, as it is only a distraction from the story for me, p...
