Cara (Carolina) is a teacher and takes a summer job tutoring the 12 yr old nephew of a boy she had a huge crush on in high school. Josh's (the crush) brother Zach is in the military. Zack's soon to be ex-wife is a piece of work. Josh works the family ranch.Seth (the nephew) has an attitude from the ...

A four-star review on a book written in first person, present tense. This is very rare. I can't even think of something rare enough to compare it to so you'd know how truly rare it is. Going back and forth between the two main characters' POV in present tense kept the story moving quickly, which was...

Couldn't finish it. Note for myself: to come back to it if I'm in a mood for something light and predictable.

4.5 stars. I can't give it the 5 because I don't think Cara needed to apologize, and I think Josh was an a$$ for yelling at her when he found her. She, of course, gave in too easily. I would have made him grovel a little more after his behavior, but otherwise this was a great story. I loved how ...

A sweet, feel-good romance with lots of steam. There were some serious undertones concerning side characters but the book is aptly titled, as it is all about 'Loving Cara.' Looking forward to Zack's story!

This was cute and maybe a bit cheesy at times. I enjoyed it well enough, but sometimes I wanted a bit more build to the relationship. What I like best about this book is the heroine. She's not a model. I'm able to relate to that because, hey! I'm not a model either. So all the self image issues I wa...

The couple, Josh and Cara (aka Carolina) have known each other their whole lives having grown up in the same small town. Things move pretty fast for Josh and Cara in the beginning but I wasn't perturbed because they aren't strangers...instead, they are old friends who are getting reacquainted on ano...

This was an interesting read.I'm a fan of Ms. Proby's plot lines because even though they are sometimes cliche' and yet, I feel good after reading them. I was entertained by this book and I learned new stuff. The story is pretty good and I feel happy after reading it.Cara is a teacher who was hired ...

Gosh. This was far to sweet for me... Not much happening either. I think the follow up's of this series are better. Even the secondary characters in this book were far more interesting than the MC. They were just stupid...
