Lucille Joyner pursued a career as a jazz pianist and bassist in New York City. After marrying, having children, and moving to the suburbs, she became a single parent. She had always tuned her own piano,so as breadwinner now, she went into the piano business. Her writing career was launched when she became speechwriter for the town's first female mayor and she was asked to write a column by a local editor. Her daily journal contained stories of her spiritual growth which, in time, became her first book: Miracles, Yours For The Asking. She is now semi-retired from the piano business to concentrate on writing.
