Well it's a short novella so it's worth the read if anything to get the story of Atticus's past. Other than that it wasn't as funny as the other Iron Druid books. It's like a sneak peek into the halfway point of the druid training.

Odin wants nothing more for Atticus to die for what he did to him, but instead of killing him himself he proposes that Atticus take the place of Thor in Ragnarok aka the end of the world battle with Hel.
I needed to back up and read this little interlude because there were just too many references to it in the later novels. It was a quick but fun read and follows up 6 years after training his little love interest in the Druidic Arts. At this point, I'm getting my hands on everything I can to fill in...
