Lutz Finger (@lutzfinger) is a noted authority on social media and big data analytics who is Insights director at LinkedIn. Prior to this he was CEO and co-founder of Fisheye Analytics, a Singapore based firm that processes 70 TB of public media data monthly for numerous governments and NGOs that was successfully acquired by the WPP Group. Lutz is a highly regarded technology executive who built a 700- employee sales center for Dell Europe as well as an incubator for mobile applications at Ericsson. He serves as advisor and board member several data-centric corporations in Europe and the US. A popular public speaker on data analytics issues, Finger also teaches regularly at top business schools such as the University of California at Berkeley, and other institutions. He has an MBA from INSEAD as well as an MS in quantum physics from TU Berlin (Germany).
