Lynn Kirby is the author of four middle grade novels about a group of friends who dream of becoming top figure skaters. Although Lynn grew up in the south with no ice rinks nearby, she fell in love with skating while watching the Winter Olympics. When her daughter later became involved in the sport, the friendships among the young skaters at the rink inspired her to write "A Perfect Landing" and the other books in the Winning Edge series. When she isn't writing, Lynn enjoys reading, collecting books, and planning a trip to London, one of her favorite cities. She lives in Atlanta.
