Born in Chicago, Illinois, Lynn was raised on her family's 100 year old homestead in Cass County, Texas. She graduated high school in Atlanta, Texas and received a B.S. degree in Biology from North Texas State University. Currently residing in Fort Worth, Texas, she is a past president of the Poets of Tarrant County and sat on the Board of Directors for the Poetry Society of Texas, where she continues to serve as Membership Chair. Lynn has been published in several poetry magazines and anthologies, including the Texas Poetry Calendar. Her book, "Somewhere to Come From, Just This Side of Paradise", is the Poetry Society of Texas' Edwin Eakin Memorial Book Publication Award winner for 2012.Author photo by Ruben D. Gonzales.
