Lynne Wikoff started writing at the age of four, when she scrawled her name in brown crayon on a freshly painted wall. (Despite her precocious achievement, her parents were not enthused.) She's been at it ever since, though, although now she uses a computer. Lynne began her writing career as a newspaper columnist on parenting issues, then she worked in corporate communications and public relations, all the while wishing she had time to write for children. In 1999, she decided she'd never have enough time so she started anyway. Lynne lives in Honolulu with her husband, Joe, and their black cat, Murphy.
