I teach juvenile delinquents." - A compliment from an attendee of an MP Johnson reading.MP Johnson launched his writing career in 1998 with the the first issue of Freak Tension, a zine devoted to punk rock and weird fiction. Since then he has popped up in B-movies, written a punk rock song about the Toxic Avenger and published more than 40 short stories. His fiction falls into the categories of bizarro, horror and science fiction. He also writes music reviews and nonfiction, which appear in Freak Tension and other zines, like Razorcake.The After-Life Story of Pork Knuckles Malone, MP Johnson's first book, was released in 2013 by Bizarro Pulp Press. It was a finalist for the Wonderland Book Awards, the preeminent awards of the bizarro fiction genre.Dungeons & Drag Queens, MP Johnson's second book, was released in 2014 by Eraserhead Press, the leading publisher of bizarro literature.More information is available at www.freaktension.com.

This was an enjoyable anthology; one I was thrilled to find at all. I've been on a bit of a zombie kick lately and this was right up my alley.
