A small town girl from the big city, my professional writing career began with weekly columns for a Florida newspaper. Moving to Arizona and wanting to continue writing for a newspaper, I searched for a story never before told. While interviewing a subject for what I thought would be a good story, I unknowingly found the perfect one. Further investigation uncovered F.B.I. records on my subject, his ex-wives - one a movie star - and his connections to the mob in Las Vegas. The first book. THE SAGA OF JACK DURANT, spawned an award-winning play and recently a film production company bought a 3-year option on it for a possible feature film or TV series. Because of the play's popularity, I wrote more about Jack's life. More research grew into another book on Jack, MOB MOLE. Now I have 9 published books: a trilogy of love,suspense, murder: DEAR SWEETHEART, DEADLY CHOICES, and DARK SECRETS. My children's book, "YAHOODYWHO", is the story of a great golden lion who lost his roar. In AMERICA-THE ITALIAN DREAM 38 Italian-Americans tell their personal stories of coming to America. BECAUSE WE ARE FRIENDS is a collection of my short stories (including two prize winners)and childhood memories. Never in my wildest dreams did I think this would happen.
