I live in a modest house in a declining neighborhood in the armpit of southern Oregon, where I've taught elementary school since 1993. I've published three books on education through Scholastic, and my first collection of contemporary short fiction for Kindle came out in August of 2014 (visit the Author Page for Mackowiecki Lewis for more info). I've also published close to forty plays in such publications as Storyworks, Scope, Scholastic News, Plays, Instructor, and Junior Scholastic. Digital downloads of many of my individual plays, as well as EZSubPlans, The Checkbook Project, and other classroom materials, are available at ReadAloudPlays.com and at my storefront at TeachersPayTeachers.com. When not writing or teaching, I like to play a lot of what passes for basketball, pester kids, and escape with my wife of more than thirty years to remote fire lookouts in the Oregon wilderness.Visit one of my websites for more info: MackLewis.com, ReadALoudPlays.com, mackowiecki.com, or my classroom site at DailyPlatypus.org. Thanks!
