Even though I wanted to beat Joe over the head a time or two, I still loved this book. Caroline was just as strong as I remember. I enjoyed her and Joe together.
not a bad book but not as good as wolf's story. the story does seem a bit dated but it was still an enjoyable read.

I had really loved both Joe and Caroline, but this time I found myself far, far too annoyed by his patronizing references to her as "little darling" and other similarly infantilizing terms.
