Well, this was fun. Short and sweet, you could say. Not a lot of angst, but not a lot of "deep" either. I enjoyed reading it, and I liked the Little Dude very much! He was awesome! All in all, a nice little piece for in between, not very heavy or complicated with a touch of sweetness.

wtf this blurb sounds like a manga, but the cover is pretty, and since I'm definitely superficial and judge based on covers, I'll give this one a chance.
3.5 starsI haven't read many stories that involve phoenixes but this one was interesting. It was fun getting to know Michael and discovery what was new through his eyes was interesting. The ending was nice although I though Bren was a doofus for ignoring Michael's warning and falling into the nest....
