I love this series so opening this book was like visiting with old friends. Alison's sarcastic wit is always a winner with me and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The mystery was cleverly convoluted with no clear villain or really any serious contenders until Ms. Barbieri was ready for things...

I really enjoy this series. The characters are well drawn and interesting, and the protagonist, Alison, has witty dialogue with a tendency towards dry wit and sarcasm - both qualities I enjoy in my heroines. The plot in this 6th book was a bit convoluted and chaotic, and I felt like the author cou...

Well, this one was slightly better, which is good, as I certainly read this series against my better judgement and all excuses of taste. And hey, in this one, Alison, a PhD who teaches English, actually teaches some classes! And deals with other faculty! Amazing!

No Jimmy! I was so looking forward to a smart ass remark from him!No Max and Fred! YAY! They don't do anything for me. I hope Alison painted her room back to the way it was before the evil pixie changed it. I curious about Fred and what happened to him, but I've learned not to get my hopes up when i...

I really enjoy this series. The characters seem like a lot of fun.I was so happy that Alison finally yelled at Max because Max was getting annoying.I'm looking forward to the next book because it has the possibility of of and appearance of my favorite character in the series: Jimmy Crawford.
