This goes only for Ilona Andrews's A Questionable Client. Four not so strong stars but still very enjoyable. For me this prequel is the start of Kate Daniels. Good short story and great introduction to the series. I get a taste of how badass Kate is and I like her. The story is about a strange and a...

Only read the Ilona Andrews novella, but I really liked. It's nice hearing about the big night that changed Kate life for ever, because Saiman is still part of her nightmares. He keep bothering her and helping her too, but most times he is responsible for the bad things that happen in this world. It...

Review just for "A Questionable Client" by Ilona Andrews.Darn it, Kate is awesome, all her lines are pitch perfect. Saiman is even funnier and such an a-hole. The entire story is entertaining, filled with its usual wit and charm that characterizes the Kate Daniels series.

The volume is just a collection of two short novella and several excerpts from the author's books. I pick this up since I haven't read the first novella of Ilona Andrews' Kate Daniels series but I've read all Edge series so the rest of the excerpts are quite unnecessary. I've read Once Burned by Jea...

I only read "One for the Money" by Jeaniene Frost because I'd already read the Ilona Andrews story. Very good short story with Bones, Cat and Cat's mom. It's been awhile since I read this series and this story has made me want to get back to it. ****1/2

The short story about Cat and Bones was rather pointless and the end didn't make much sense and wasn't explained any further. The short story about Kate Daniels was ok.What annoyed me a bit was, that half of the book was teaser for other books by the authors - might be interesting for readers who hav...
