So my uncle drops by one day when I'm not around, I come home and there is this torn up, stained, dog eared, frankly diseased looking novel sat on top of my electric heater. It was also the first book in the Riftwar Saga, a trilogy that went on to spawn a lot more books set in the same multiverse. Now,...

It's more like a 3.5. I enjoyed the book and the story, though you notice that this was one of the author's earlier books..

I am very picky in the genre and I have to say this is one of my favorite series of books overall.
