In a small town out West, Emmitt Townshend is suffering loneliness after the death of his wife during childbirth. In an effort to find love again he calls upon a mail-order bride named Rachel who says she is “looking for a man I’ve never met in a place I’ve never been.” When Rachel arrives in town before Christmas it becomes clear to both her and Emmitt that neither one of them knew what they were in for. Is marriage without love enough for Emmitt? Can Rachel bring herself to love anyone? Will they find love before it is too late? Will it take a miracle?
