A Mail Order Bride arrives in the West, only to discover that her intended husband does not know of her existence.

Hettie’s family is devastated by financial burdens caused by the civil war. Hopeful to find love, she answers an ad to become a mail order bride and travels across the country to marry a Sheriff in Nevada. But it is not he who is waiting for her at the train station.
