April 2015 - update I have been reading a couple of different books, and everything seemed slow, plodding. I wanted something light and funny to lift my spirit so I turned to one of my old favorites by Crusie, and it didn't disappoint. I enjoyed it tremendously and I laughed myself happy. Love thi...

Re-read #1 (8/10/13) - Coming hard on the heels of the gorgeous but emotionally devastating ME BEFORE YOU, MANHUNTING was a witty balm for my battered soul. I highlighted about half the book and laughed my way through the rest, this is Crusie at her silly best.

I really enjoyed this book. Funny, although I almost didn't expect it to be (since I'm not really the laugh out loud type). This book was a total hoot because it had two characters who practiced self-delusion perfectly, the heroine with her corporate life and three engagements she broke off, who wanted to have a companion, someone smart and successful and definitely not like the hero Jake who does nothing, ever since he ...

I hoard my Jennifer Crusie books, y’all. The few I haven’t read yet I try to save, because she is one of my most treasured authors. Bet Me is one of my all time favorite books. I am happy to report that Manhunting more than lived up to the high standard I have come to expect from Crusie!Kate Svenson...
