I read this, hoping for a more in-depth discussion of panentheism, but this is a nice, readable book. It might be more of a starting point for exploration as it doesn't cover ideas in any great detail but gives a very basic introduction to liberal Protestant theology.

Very interesting and well-thought out perspective on the Bible.

This is a thoughtful analysis of the Gospel of Mark's description of the last week of Jesus' life. It provides a view that most progressive Christians can feel comfortable with. It's a view that doesn't require the reader to suspend their understanding of life, history and reality.
