If you're not familiar with Susanna Kearsley, she writes the kind of books you want to read on a rainy day with a cup of tea. In this one, a book illustrator buys an old house that she's mysteriously drawn to and gets sucked into a reincarnation mystery. The heroine isn't too quick on the uptake, bu...

Read This Review & More Like It @ Ageless Pages Reviews! This was very, very good. She meets the villagers (not that there...

Not sure about the magical categorization, unless you think time travel is magical which I kind of do.I cheated and about a 3rd of the way through the book I read the last few pages. I'm glad I did because then I really paid attention to what Julia did and said and with whom. Also a secondary coup...

My, I didn't see that twist coming at all. Review much later, not until new US release date. Sorry.

Great story but the solution at the end was a bit too sudden to be believable.
