Life is such an exquisite journey. When I studied psychology in my undergraduate and graduate pursuits, I did not yet know that I would some day become a writer. But over time, life circumstances called me to write inspired thoughts down and then to eventually publish those ideas. Writing continues to be a central part of my life and my life's work today. In my early 20's, coming into my truer self, I wrote several books about gay and lesbian identity development, rites of passage, and the donor insemination process. This phase of my life was a bridge for me, allowing me to try experiences on, to expand my skills, and to learn a great deal about the world and my place in it. As I look back on the books written in that window of time, and my consciousness at that time, I believe that there is a lot of useful information contained within those books. Yet admittedly, there is an evident frustration with the less conscious nature of the larger culture, that is present in the tone of these works. My books, Homosexual Rites of Passage: A Road to Visibility and Validation and A Donor Insemination Guide: Written By and For Lesbian Women, offer some insightful, technical, inspirational, or helpful messages, that can benefit others in their quest for happiness and wholeness. If one can look past the tone of "resistance" in these works, they can be very useful resources. I am really excited to promote my current work, which includes eight inspirational stories in a book series called Shine Your Light books. A profound tragedy occurred in my life in the past five years, that woke me up to more expansive cosmic truths within my self and this extraordinary universe. These cosmic truths, and my inner light, called me to write once more. Some of the insights gleaned from my own inner awakening process are woven within the Shine Your Light stories. The gentle messages found in my unique illustrated stories reflect our divine essence, our inner light, and our inner child - who loves to play, to laugh, to create, and to be delighted every day. These books - including Swallow the Sun, Leonard's Song, The Habit of Rabbits, Little Bird's Earth Nest, The Knight and His Armored Heart, and Hearts of Trees - were created and written for the timeless and ageless inner child that lives within us all! I believe that out of the great challenges, adversities, and tremendous contrasts in our lives, we often recover the grace and the bliss that we are truly meant to experientially live. My book, Cosmic Wealth: A Guide to Living the Prosperity of a Rich Inner Life, offers inspirations and divine messages to help others in their cosmic quest for wholeness, wellness, self-understanding, conscious creation, joyful and prosperous living, and divine expansion.
