I used to be hooked on the whole series. A re-read is in order soon.
And the series ends, but it doesn't feel like an ending. We find out about Carter and what he can do and his past, some of the students are offered a choice about having their gifts taken away and they all learn that with power comes responsibility. It's not a bad read, but it felt a bit hollow. ...
