'Mariner's Luck' is the second book in Kirby Crow's series 'Scarlet and the White Wolf' the main focus of this one seemed to be the development of Liall & Scarlet's relationship as they travelled to Liall's homeland. Scarlet has proven himself to be brave and courageous beyond measure as he comes to...
I thought the first book was sweet. In many ways, the sweetness of this book is even greater as the two explore their feelings for each other, sharing their feelings for each other, and opening their hearts. I was entranced all the way through, unable to put the book down for more than a few moments...
First off, I very highly recommend the series; I think this is the weakest volume, but I could not put it down, and the moment I finished it I started the third volume. Spoiler: picking up from my review of the first volume, my main problem is with the long delay of consummation between the couple....
I LITERALLY read this in a day. It held my attention with perfect combinations of romance, action, humor, and drama. A Very flawless second installation.
This reminds me a lot of the Song of the Fallen series as Rachel Haimowitz. Although the writing is not on the same level as that series, this is still a pleasant read. I was startled to find out that Nadei was Liall's brother, from the way Liall kept mourning how he had a long ago love, or how in...

This second book is more focused on the romance development. It was less thrilling but I still enjoyed it very much. The end lets me hope for obscure machinations...
Scarlet and Liall finally get it on in the second book of this excellent m/m fantasy trilogy. Scarlet's expression flickered. His smile grew warmer, and he lifted his hand out of the water and cupped Liall's face. "I won't be offended if you touch me, you stupid Kasiri bastard. I want you to."
Very good, but it made me wonder why book 1 and 2 couldn't be just one volume. I'm the only one that like longer fantasy books? Book 1 and 2 were so short I really think it would be more logical one, not two books.Starting the 3 now, book 2 end as book 1, with a cliffhanger.
First off, I must reiterate that I nearly pitched the e-reader across the room at the way this book ended. Seriously, I think it might have been better all around if the author had put all 3 books of the series together in one volume. This, volume 2, is a short, quick read and the ending comes so ...
