I thought the first book was sweet. In many ways, the sweetness of this book is even greater as the two explore their feelings for each other, sharing their feelings for each other, and opening their hearts. I was entranced all the way through, unable to put the book down for more than a few moments...
First off, I very highly recommend the series; I think this is the weakest volume, but I could not put it down, and the moment I finished it I started the third volume. Spoiler: picking up from my review of the first volume, my main problem is with the long delay of consummation between the couple....
I LITERALLY read this in a day. It held my attention with perfect combinations of romance, action, humor, and drama. A Very flawless second installation.
This reminds me a lot of the Song of the Fallen series as Rachel Haimowitz. Although the writing is not on the same level as that series, this is still a pleasant read.
