The structure made it a little dry for a kid's comic. Wicks' love and appreciation for marine life come through and the illustrations are clean and vibrant, I just wish there were more of a storyline and less of a lecture from a goby.

Definitely a work of imaginative non-fiction (little added bits that likely never happened or are not actually true but make the story interesting).
