a childhood fav that I had forgotten about and then saw illustrations on a vintage book blog and promptly bought a used copy. It is just as good as my memory-feelings led me to believe. the bunnies look so real and yet so comfortable in human clothing.

Had I read this one in childhood, it would probably be a favorite, along with Angus Lost. Discovered late, howeve...

This didn't live up to my childhood memories. I still love the art, but I didn't like the story. I didn't remember Ping almost ending up on a dinner plate, and I didn't like that plot point now. LOL - it was too scary for me, now that I am an adult!

In this story Cottontail is a plain brown country bunny who put aside her childhood dreams of becoming one of the five exalted Easter Bunnies to raise her own f...
