Mark MacNamara (a writer, not the fisherman by the same name) is perhaps best known online for a series of crime pieces written in the early 1990s for Vanity Fair, Los Angeles Magazine, Buzz, and West (The San Jose Mercury News Sunday Magazine). He is a former spokesperson for the San Francisco District Attorney's office, a short story writer, a playwright, and in 2004-06 worked as a foreign correspondent while living in Morocco. In the last four years he has worked for a small Internet start-up run by Louis Borders, and recently has been exploring the art of 'organizational storytelling'.
