Martin Loughlin has worked in public relations, the travel industry and social services, although has always wanted to be a writer. He has always been a big Sherlock Holmes fan and has gone to great lengths to make his popular series of Holmes books as close to the style and feel of the originals as possible. The idea for the best selling 'The Whitechapel Secret' came from taking one of the Jack the Ripper walks a few years ago.He has also written numerous articles and also published a short story for children, called 'The Zebra with no Stripes' also available on Amazon as an ebook.
