Wonderful illustrations and engaging text that I will use to introduce my students to Martin Luther King Jr. and his work. This also fits into my Caldecott unit. I think it was an Honor book in 2001.
My immediate reaction to this book was extremely positive. From inside out it is a remarkably visually appealing book - making it a fantastic one to share with young children as it's sure to grab their attention too.
