2.5 While this was a good story and maybe because it was a short story, I just felt that I missed something with Varro and how he came to his realization. There just seemed to be something in the middle missing for me. Maybe because we didn't get his point of view, I don't know.
It's just odd. I do not like Mary Calmes when she writes her 'Jories'. Perfect people and their perfect fans irritate me to no end. However when Mary Calmes doesn't write perfect people she nails it, for me anyway. I loved this story. This did it for me big time.
What!? Brian and Varro deserved each other, neither made any sense. They were oblivious and jerks. Communication can be wonderful.
