She is author of GIRLS MAKE MEDIA (Routledge, 2006), and editor of MEDIATED GIRLHOODS: NEW EXPLORATIONS OF GIRLS' MEDIA CULTURE (Peter Lang, 2011) and THE GENDER AND MEDIA READER (Routledge, 2011).
