Mary Frances Cavallaro, a graduate of Chestnut Hill College with her B.A. in English, was born and raised in South Philadelphia, PA. With Edgar Allan Poe as her favorite author and influence in her work, she enjoys writing gothic and mystery stories. Mary Frances Cavallaro takes you back in time to the 19th century to experience the eerie, the uncanny, and the bizarre. Despite her love of the macabre, her first published novel is a romance fiction titled More Than Love. She writes articles for a local paper and stories in her spare time - the very little of it she has - while being a full-time teacher. This terribly shy, dreadfully awkward, and deliciously cynical author (an ongoing joke in how she describes herself) aspires to write more short stories and potentially another novel.
