Mary Funk was born with a writer's passion. Her two fondest childhood memories were: 1) the day her mother gave her the family's old Remington typewriter gathering dust in the basement; and 2) the day she won her first writing contest, in the eighth grade, with an essay she typed on that old typewriter. She went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in English, Advertising and Public Relations, she's written extensively as a creative copywriter and business/marketing writer and she's earned numerous writing and marketing awards. Mary has also logged in many years of formal and informal study in metaphysical principles and theories.This is Mary Funk's first novel. She's a member of the Virginia Beach Writers' Group and participated in the 2013 and 2014 HRW Writers' Conferences. She's since traded in the old Remington typewriter for a laptop computer.
