This is not the first time the story of the "Wild Boy of Aveyron" has been told, but this is one of the best I've read. Losure tells his story with compassion and sensitivity in a captivating, elegantly written narrative.

A quick read (about an hour for me), and an excellent job of it. I knew that the cousins had faked the fairy photos, but Losure was brilliant at explaining the classism and sexism that kept others from recognizing the fakery. And she also did a marvelous job of explaining how the thing blew up so bi...

I didn't really like it. But I gave it a three stars anyway, since it was my fault for picking up a book fit for younger readers!It's a really quick short read! I needed something just like this while waiting for my next book. (:And I guess that's all!
