The worst thing about this book is that it's boring. Nothing really happens until about 80%. Everything else is just kind of a slow burn. There is a love triangle going on. Though I'm kind of glad it doesn't get super annoying and Xander actually helps Cassia out in the end. Overall though there was ...
Matched seems to be what would happen if you swirled together the Hunger Games and Divergent. Cassia is a normal teen living in an option less world, until she is matched incorrectly. Now instead of knowing the one person she will spend the rest of her life with, she is divided between an unapproved...
Ever since working at the library, I have been open to many different genres of books, and the one section that I was very surprised to be reading was the Young Adult Section. Ever since I could read, I read from the Juvenile Section and then moved right into the Adult section. Missing the Young Adu...
Describing Matched will make you run away. It’s the serious person’s worst nightmare. Think of every recent Young Adult cliche, and it’s here. Matched Is a story of an ordinary girl in an oppressive-benign society caught between the Stable Guy and Mysterious Dude. There isn’t even something undernea...
This book reminded me of The Giver and The Hunger Games. I like the future "perfect" world it describes and the holes that are in that perfect world for those who look to see them. It was interesting and kept me wanting to read on. I can't wait to read the next book, in the series.

I was a bit shock about the mix reviews, some was ...
Matched is the type of book that hooks you from the beginning and keeps you wanting to read more. The society sacrifices so much of its individuality and freedom for the sake of efficiency and harmony.Condie presents a world that seems safe and suffocating at the same time. She presents a character ...

Don’t expect action packed, fight for your life, save the world kind of dystopian novel here. This is a sit in your PJ’s with a hot cup of tea in your favorite reading spot kind of book. Drift away into the story of Cassia (pronounced Cash-a), a girl who lives in a calm society where her life is lai...
