I have to say this book works better if you blank your mind and read the book as free verses instead of in paragraphs and let your imagination run riot.It is creepy, sad but ultimately moving.Reminds me of Salman Rusdie's early magic realism works.

Some great stuff in here. I particularly liked the Chris Bachelder story, and the poem "Contemplations of the Saints."
