His work has appeared in Best New Poets, Indiana Review, New England Review, Prairie Schooner, Willow Springs and many other journals. He has received awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, the Elizabeth George Foundation, the Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Memorial Foundation, the University of Washington and 4Culture.
