I think it's probably the fact that I haven't read any Jack comics, but this Fable lost me a little. The idea of the literals is interesting but I felt that suddenly huge chunks of story around Kevin Thorn were skipped (again, probably in the Jack stories) meaning I spend half of my time reading thi...

I was underwhelmed by this. I do love the literals and had fun seeing the Genres. There were some other fun moments, but I'm looking forward at getting back to the regular Fables storyline.

Great volume, and I feel a new beginning for things maybe in the storyline.. This one is the lengthiest to date however, but it went fairly fast.

So, basically this large story arc is a "time-out" from...

Reading some of the other reviews here made me chuckle, because the one thing I didn't like about this book is Jack. He's obnoxious, arrogant, and self-centred, and I was disappointed that he got to be some sort of hero. However, the cross-over? The cross-over is AWESOME. I like the idea of the Liter...

The basic premise of Fables is that the characters from our fairy-tales are real people. They fled their homeland, pursued by a nameless enemy, and ended up in New York City, where like all immigrants they struggled to both assimilate and stay true to themselves. The plot behind this particular co...
